Battle For Arcanium
Battle For Arcanium#
Battle For Arcanium is a Tower Defense game where you can place towers to defend your base and at the same time you can attack the enemy base deploying your troops.
This prototype has been developed for the Online Game Design class. Then, it has been presented at the New Game Designer the 3rd July 2025 with the purpose of having lots of feedbacks from different people of the italian videogame industry. This helped to enhance the overall experience of the game.

Roles#
As the team lead I splitted the work into multiple tasks and then assigned them to me and my other 3 teammates; I also managed to respect the deadlines.
I created the game world working on the backstory and the characters that could be present inside this game.
I also designed the general structure of the project and the general source code infrastructure; this to ensure that adding functionalities could go as smooth as possible.
I designed and developed the towers that can be placed inside the game. Not every single tower has been implemented in the prototype, but there is a small description inside the GDD.
Lastly I designed and edited the trailer of the game.
Software#
This game has been developed using Unity 6. The multiplayer uses Unity Relay and Netcode for GameObjects.
